Following is an overview of how data protection is warranted, and which data are gathers for which purpose.

Data processing on our the website
The Departmet of Urology, retrieves and stores data, which are transmitted by your browser, automatically through its server log file,. These are:

Browser type and/or version
System software
Referrer URL (previously visited site)
Host name of the accessing computer (IP Address)
Time of server inquiry for access.

This data is not attributable to certain persons at the German Prostate Center. A merging with the data sources will not take place. Additionally, the data will be deleted immediately upon the statistical evaluation.

Cookies
We have implemented cookies on several pages of our website. The serve to make our website more user friendly, more effective, and more secure. A “cookie” is a small piece of information that is sent by a web server to be stored on a web browser, so that it can later be read back from that browser the next time this unique visitor returns to that web server.
